There's been a number of new restaurants popping out around the city, and I haven't been able to keep up with it because of offline obligations. Last night, I decided on a whim to try out one of the latest ones: Red Restaurant. It's a little out of the way, given the fact that it isn't near town, but it definitely caught my eye because of the bright red lights that illuminate it.

In an attempt to perfectly describe my love for Japan, I accidentally found out that there's such a word as Japanophile. Maybe calling myself that is pushing it, but to be honest, I've always had a fascination for it since childhood because of anime. Traveling there is at the top of my bucket list, but since that remains a far-off dream for now, I'll settle with enjoying their cuisine locally.
Earlier today, I suddenly felt like indulging in something Japanese, so I decided to give Samurai Sushi and Bento a try. It opened late last year, so my visit was actually long overdue.

If you are a frequent visitor of the blogosphere, then most likely than not, you have probably read about Tmart. I sure have, so it caught me by surprise when I received an e-mail from one of thr e-marketplace's representatives. They wanted me to review the hobo bag that you see in the photo, and I obliged.
It took a while for it to arrive, especially since it went through our local post office. It's notoriously known for losing or delaying packages, so I had to cross my fingers that the former didn't happen to this item. Good thing it arrived safe and sound.

The boulevard was peppered with festive cheer during the regatta competition. The colorful vintas that were strewn across the stretch of sand were a feast for the days, and you could feel a sense of solidarity in the way people flocked to the seaside to witness the annual event. Tang, a juice brand that has made a name all over the country, decided to join in the fun by giving out free samples of their newest variant, Sweet Orange.
