Island Bubble Tea

Island Bubble Tea is special to me because I consider it as my safe haven whenever I want to be alone. It's almost always empty when I go there, so that's definitely a bonus for an anti-social person like me. It also has a special place in my heart because, apart from going alone, I only go there with N.

For today's lunch, I opted to order their chicken stick meal which consists of four strips of crispy chicken and of course rice. It comes with a glass of iced tea. There's nothing notable about the taste of the chicken, but it's surely something you'd appreciate if you are fond of munching on anything crispy. I do not know about everyone else, but to me, the meal is actually filling. I was also thinking that the chicken strips would taste better with fries or mojos on the side. Dip them in mustard and you have a perfect snack.

To be honest, I usually visit IBT because of their waffles. They offer a variety of toppings: butter, maple, strawberry, mango, blueberry, choco syrup and everyone's favorite Nutella. They also have a chocolate chip version for those who prefer their waffles to be extra chocolatey. I personally love the strawberry jam and Nutella ones though.

Some of you might be wondering why I even bother to spend extra money on a simple waffle when I can make one at home. I have two explanations for that: one, I'm just too damn lazy and two, there's a different satisfaction when you are the one who is being served. I rest my case.
