Quick Update Before The Move

I feel so guilty because I haven't been making updates as much as before. I really will though once my schedule is freed up. I decided on posting an update because I need to announce the winners of the Tribute Shoes giveaway. Congratulations! I'll be sending everyone e-mails. Please let me know when you receive them. :)

Sadly, I haven't gone to an interesting food place lately. I don't even have time to fix something up in the kitchen. I devoted most of my time to school. After all, it is my last month as a student. On a happy note, I was able to pick up my hardbound thesis a few days ago. The feeling was surreal. It means so much to me because I had to go through so many obstacles just to get it done. Even if I tripped a lot during my run, I was still able to make it to the finish line. Of course, I am thankful to every single person who helped me in any way. You guys know who you are. :)

I'm not quite done with college yet though. Due to my being a transferee, I have one last subject that needs my attention - Physical Education. Since my teacher thinks I shouldn't be doing anything strenuous, I had to settle with making a scrapbook. Running from one game to another was really tiring, but I had fun somehow. I lack the eye for photography and I do not have the appropriate lenses at my disposal, but I somehow think these were my best shots from the softball tournament.

The cloud of dust makes everything dramatic. I wasn't able to capture a good batting shot though. I'm not into sports, but I realized a lot of things while I was watching the games:
  1. I need to have a sport. My number one issue is stamina though. I really think it's time for me to get into shape. I just might go back to tennis, one of my childhood sports.
  2. Teamwork. In group games like softball, having really skilled players who can do well individually is not enough. You have to work together in order to win.
  3. Do not underestimate people. There were teams that blew me away with their performance. Some of the players seemed "soft" when you looked at them, but they could sure swing a bat. It was really cool to watch.
That's all for now. Have a great weekend, everyone! The next time I make a post, it might be on my new domain. ^_^

  1. You'd surely love softball once you try playing it once. But of course with your stamina issue as you said, you don't have to.
Oh, I love your photos of the game...you really captured the most dramatic moments. ",

  11. I love your shots. I was thinking the Philippines should concentrate on sports like this instead of basketball. Basketball is so overrated (although hubby loves playing it too hehe)

  12. Having a sport for any person living on earth is a must. Why? It can make you feel relax, happy, healthy and confident at the same time. :).
