Sadly, I haven't gone to an interesting food place lately. I don't even have time to fix something up in the kitchen. I devoted most of my time to school. After all, it is my last month as a student. On a happy note, I was able to pick up my hardbound thesis a few days ago. The feeling was surreal. It means so much to me because I had to go through so many obstacles just to get it done. Even if I tripped a lot during my run, I was still able to make it to the finish line. Of course, I am thankful to every single person who helped me in any way. You guys know who you are. :)
I'm not quite done with college yet though. Due to my being a transferee, I have one last subject that needs my attention - Physical Education. Since my teacher thinks I shouldn't be doing anything strenuous, I had to settle with making a scrapbook. Running from one game to another was really tiring, but I had fun somehow. I lack the eye for photography and I do not have the appropriate lenses at my disposal, but I somehow think these were my best shots from the softball tournament.
The cloud of dust makes everything dramatic. I wasn't able to capture a good batting shot though. I'm not into sports, but I realized a lot of things while I was watching the games:
- I need to have a sport. My number one issue is stamina though. I really think it's time for me to get into shape. I just might go back to tennis, one of my childhood sports.
- Teamwork. In group games like softball, having really skilled players who can do well individually is not enough. You have to work together in order to win.
- Do not underestimate people. There were teams that blew me away with their performance. Some of the players seemed "soft" when you looked at them, but they could sure swing a bat. It was really cool to watch.
That's all for now. Have a great weekend, everyone! The next time I make a post, it might be on my new domain. ^_^
