Pork Hash Brown

I love hash browns. I remember the first time I was introduced to them by my best friend back in high school. She took me to a newly opened fast food joint in the city, and ever since then, I've been ordering these whenever I could. I do try to tone it down though, given the fact that they're a bit pricey and that they're not the healthiest choice for a snack.

Today, I was tasked to make supper. There wasn't much in the fridge, but luckily, I thought of making some pork has browns. I'm very prone to on the spot recipes nowadays.

Pork Hash Brown Recipe

1 Potato (diced)
Ground Pork (amount must be at least equal to the potato)
Seasoned Breadcrumbs (or regular breadcrumbs + breading mix)
1-2 Tbsp Flour

Basically, I just mashed everything with my hands. I used about a tablespoonful of the mixture and rolled it into a ball. I coated it with the seasoned breadcrumbs, then I flattened the ball and proceeded to fry it. It's a really simple and quick recipe. Also, it's very good.

As for the dip, you can always opt for the usual mayo-ketchup combo. I made use of a recent purchase, some Laughing Cow Milky Cheese. It tastes really good with these babies.

P.S. Try adding small cheese slices in the pork-potato mixture before frying for a tasty surprise.
