Swiss Miss Mint Hot Chocolate Review
I received a packet of this from a private swap in Postcrossing. The postcrosser I got it from was quite generous because she also sent me a bar of chocolate and two tea bags of vanilla tea. To be honest, I'm not a mint chocolate fan. I never was. You could even say that I hate it, but I think the tables have been turned thanks to this chocolate drink.
To start, let me just explain why I'm not into mint chocolate. Well, let's put it this way. It makes me feel as if I've just consumed chocolate right after brushing my teeth. I don't know about you guys, but the feeling is definitely unpleasant.
Anyway, my first sip surprised me with a full-on dose of mint. I've had peppermint tea and I was able to withstand it perfectly, but this Swiss Miss variant makes it seem watered down in comparison. I was hesitant about drinking it all. I was quite surprised when I continued to drink continuously in small sips. It's bearable that way if you aren't a mint chocolate fan like me. The chocolate is more pronounced that way. If you decide to take a break in between sips, then you can definitely taste and feel that cool minty feeling from the drink.
I like it, but I'm not crazy about it. I really love Swiss Miss hot chocolate, so the base has already won me over. If given the choice, I'll still go for the Marshmallow variant.
