Salted Caramel Turtle Brownies

I present to you the only thing I purchased from the annual One Mega Fair. I was there last year, but I went all out when it came to food then. Sadly, I didn't enjoy this year's bazaar for a couple of reasons. But hey, at least I was able to buy a box of salted caramel turtle brownies!

Remember those free Christmas cookies I won recently? Well, I bought these brownies from the same pastry shop. Most of the food that was being sold at their bazaar stall were especially prepared for the holiday season. Although there were tons of other things to buy, I had my eye on these brownies since Myrna's Bakehouse posted about them on their Facebook page. Buying them was a priority.

One box costs P140. I usually don't make hasty purchases, but they looked so good. I had to brush off the thought of spending. Luckily, I wasn't disappointed when I tried my first one.

Basically, You get a fudgy brownie that's topped with gooey caramel. This brownie makes eating with restraint difficult. I'd probably fit the whole thing in my mouth if I could. Once you start biting into one, you'll crave for more. If you enjoy the salty-sweet combo, then this is something you have got to try.

I really love the crunch that the peanuts provided every time I took a bite. Their saltiness also goes really well with the brownies and the caramel topping. I wish I could have the whole box to myself, but I have to share. Aside from the fear of getting tonsillitis, I think it's only right to let others experience how good they are, too.

P.S. I'm planning to buy a box as a Christmas present. (And maybe for myself, too. Haha!)
